Mindy Sanderson

A little about me
Welcome
Let me introduce myself. My name is Mindy and I’m in the process of a new job search. In this tough economy, I know this will be a challenge. But, it’s one that I’m taking on full force.
I have an extensive background in account management, project management, optimization of procedures, and event management. I’ve worked across multiple industries including: meetings, trade shows, IT, medical education, hotel, restaurant, print and marketing for various organizations ranging from non-profit to corporate.
One of my biggest assets has always been my ability to forge sustainable relationships. I am extremely outgoing and personable, making it easy to connect with others on both a professional and personal level. This is something that I’ve always enjoyed…getting to know someone to build trust and a friendship that allows us to work together productively
On a personal note, I love many things: restaurants, shopping (does shoppers anonymous exist?), the latest electronic gadgets, the beach, travel, my new iPhone, decorating, Boston sports and much more.
My family owned a local restaurant which recently closed its doors after 33 years in business. I began working at the restaurant the day we opened (I was 6) and continued until we closed. Growing up in a family business has taught me a lot over the years and has helped form who I am today. When I was young, I didn’t appreciate all that I was doing or understand why I had to work when my friends were not. But I can honestly say that I am extremely grateful for the experience and it has taught me a strong work ethic, to be proud of what you do, the value of a customer, and how to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment. This experience is something I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.
Recently, I’ve turned into a health nut and am always looking for low-calorie, yummy and healthy meals. I don’t really cook, so this could get interesting!
There’s so much more….but I don’t want to give away too much!
